Metadata project - Work in progress meeting
Researchers involved in the SA-TIED metadata project meet in Pretoria, South Africa to share the preliminary results of their research works in progress. The Work-in-Progress meeting provides an opportunity for researchers to share initial results, gather feedback, and consider areas for research advancement.
The researchers presenting continue to expand the availability, functionality, and soundness of the metadata and datasets held at the secure data facility in the National Treasury of South Africa, supporting the formulation of evidence-based policy research for inclusive economic development in the region.
Policies that promote inclusive development need to be built on reliable facts. The research presented on the day is one way that SA-TIED supports a sustained and inclusive development path for South Africa and the region.
