Regional growth for southern Africa’s prosperity - Work in progress meeting

Researchers from the Regional growth for southern Africa’s prosperity  work stream meet in Pretoria, South Africa to share the preliminary results of their research work in progress. The annual Work-in-Progress meeting provides an opportunity for researchers to share initial results, gather feedback, and consider areas for research advancement.

The researchers presenting continue to expand southern African knowledge on regional trade, infrastructure, value chains, and industrial policy for inclusive economic development in South Africa, supporting the formulation of evidence-based policy for prosperity.

Policies that promote inclusive development need to be built on reliable facts. The research presented on the day is one way that SA-TIED supports a sustained and inclusive development path for South Africa and the region.
