TIPS workshop on southern African regional integration
On Wednesday, 29 May researchers from the SA-TIED work stream on Regional growth for southern Africa's prosperity gather together with policymakers and experts in trade and industrial policy from the southern African region to discuss recent research. The purpose of the work shop is to introduce new research on regional integration, regional trade, industrial policy, and economic development for the southern African region and to discuss with policymakers the opportunities for improving regional integration and shared prosperity. The workshop will be held at the Trade and Industrial Policy Strategies (TIPS) headquarters and will feature sessions chaired by international experts from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, and Zambia. This workshop will take place parallel to the annual TIPS Forum to be held on 30-31 May.
